Summer School on K-Theory and Related Fields

This school provided an introduction to some of the main topics of the trimester program; the lectures were mainly directed at PhD students and young postdocs.

The following speakers gave each a sequence of lectures, which was complemented by daily problem and discussion sessions.

  • Arthur Bartels (Münster): K-theory of group rings
  • Moritz Kerz (Regensburg): Algebraic K-theory and descent for blow-ups
  • Marc Levine (Essen): Refined enumerative geometry
  • Andreas Thom (Dresden): Algebraic vs. topological K-theory
  • Charles Weibel (Rutgers): K-theory of algebraic varieties
