Summer School: Spectral methods in algebra, geometry, and topology

Dates: September 19-23, 2022
Venue: HIM lecture hall (Poppelsdorfer Allee 45, Bonn)
Organizers: Paul Balmer (UCLA), Tobias Barthel (Bonn), John Greenlees (Warwick), Henning Krause (Bielefeld), Julia Pevtsova (Washington)

Lecturers:

  • Agnes Beaudry (Colorado)
  • Dave Benson (Aberdeen)
  • Stefan Schwede (Bonn)
  • Greg Stevenson (Glasgow)

Description:

The aim of this school is to introduce early-career researchers and mathematicians in adjacent fields alike to some of the main themes of the trimester program. It will consist of four lecture series which will cover topics in modular representation theory, equivariant and chromatic homotopy theory, as well as tensor-triangular geometry. More details on each of the courses will become available here in due time.
