 Description:

The winter school will provide an introduction to the main topics of the trimester program. The lectures will discuss recent developments in the study of the dynamics on homogeneous spaces and on moduli spaces of translation surfaces. An emphasis will be put on presenting different methods, including transfer operator techniques. The lectures will be mainly directed at PhD students and junior researchers.
