Winter School "Connections between representation theory and geometry"

Dates: October 5-9, 12-16 and 19-23, 2020
Venue: online
Organizers: Jenny August (Bonn), Sondre Kvamme (Uppsala), Daniel Labardini-Fragoso (Mexico City), Alexandra Zvonareva (Stuttgart)

The school plans to bring together experts on various connections between representation theory and geometry, who will deliver introductory mini-courses aimed at young representation theorists. The mini-courses will be further complemented by a number of talks linking the topics and putting them in a wider mathematical perspective.

Confirmed mini-course lecturers include:

  • Bernhard Keller (Paris 7)
  • James Pascaleff (Illinois)
  • Sibylle Schroll (Leicester)

Single talks will be held by

  • Claire Amiot (Institut Fourier, Grenoble)
  • Tobias Dyckerhoff (Hamburg)
  • Fabian Haiden (Oxford)
  • Gustavo Jasso (Bonn)
  • Ailsa Keating (Cambridge)
  • Yanki Lekili (Kings College London)
  • Ivan Smith (Cambridge)

The school was held online. For those who could not make it to the live talks, recordings of the talks were made available online.
